Truth Will Set You Free

Shadrack, Meshach, and Abednego showed us how to love God with all our life. They lived their faith with an abandonment of all earthly things. Their beautiful words of faith had a profound meaning and lacked the emptiness of many who say beautiful things but are less than beautiful inside.

They truly saw Jesus. One who sees Jesus can never be confounded – will never have any doubts as to what is good and what is bad. They will never have doubt, uncertainty, or even be perplexed. They understood that “truth will set them free,” for God is Truth.

St. Therese of the Child Jesus said, “We know which Word we should follow; unlike Pilate we do not ask, “What is Truth?” We have Truth. We are the custodians of Jesus in our own hearts.”
