It is dusk, or you may prefer twilight
whatever word you choose
it is the time of day immediately following sunset
It is the time that daylight is gently tucked into the earth's bed
and twilight provides the soft illumination
just long enough for one to contemplate on the day that
just transpired.
You will have just enough time before this
natural dimmer that God created will gradually drift
you into that gentle good night.
